This internship report focuses on Chapter One of my internship at Everest Enterprise in the Marketing department in 2023. Everest Enterprise is a renowned company known for its innovative marketing strategies. The report provides an overview of the objectives, scope, and key projects undertaken during this chapter, highlighting the valuable insights and skills gained during my internship experience.

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the study:
The internship program of BBA is a partial requirement to
have experience of real-life challenge conducted by the intern. It is the
important part of BBA program which covers the duration of 8 weeks of
organizational attachment. Graduates from this program will have the knowledge
and skill to develop business processes and get chance to experience the real
work life situation. The primary goal of this internship program is to provide
an on-the-job exposure to the student and an opportunity for translation of
theoretical conceptions and knowledge in real life situation. Students are
placed in enterprises, organizations, financial institutions, research
institutions, as well as development projects where they learn by doing and
observing. Students will face different problem and learnt to handle and solve
that problem and get chance to work in a dynamic group. They learnt about the organizational
culture and can act as per it.
Green Peace Lincoln affiliated to Lincoln University have
program under which the students are required to involve in one of the
established organization as an marketing and prepare internship report by
working there. It provides the opportunity to explore high quality educational
experience which will helps to prepare us a competent and effective business
professional. It is mandatory for graduate student to do marketing in order to
enter into the real job market world from college level students.
During my internship period at Everest Enterprises, I came
to understand about the work procedure at this Enterprises and able to learn
about the Marketing strategy and other services provided by the ma customer.
Apart from this I got opportunity to meet with many knowledgeable professionals
who share valuable knowledge and information with me regarding the Educational
Consultancy. I got familiar with management related works and learning
experience. These experiences are indeed wonderful and I believe the learning
from this internship program would help me in my future career.

1.2 Methodology:
A methodology is a system to set goals and apply resources
and tools across your organization so you can reach those goals. A methodology
can be used to demonstrate a concept and then give you the methods to apply it
successfully. In marketing, sales and other business growth methods,
methodologies give you guidance to define your goals for growth and the
processes to achieve them. They help to fit in everything from departments and
individual job roles or tasks all the way to the use of tools and services to
achieve those goals. Selection of organization is an integral part of
internship program because the learning experience from the internship is
largely determined by the type and the nature of the organization. For my internship
program I went through the following procedure while selecting the
organization.
● Getting suggestion from teacher to
find out best industries for internship.
● Contact with my friends to
understand about the work that they are performing.
● Visited various department sector
organization and drop resume and letters.
● Visited Everest Enterprises and drop
resume and letter.
● And finally join Everest Enterprises
in marketing department.

I have used both the primary and secondary data to prepare
the report. But most of the data are collected from primary source. I observed
various activities of Nestle company Ltd. My practical experience in Nestle
Company Ltd. was great source of information.

1.3.1 Organization Selection:
As
internship is the basic part of the study it was a great opportunity for me to
do intern in the Nestle Company. For internship, the intern has chosen Everest
Enterprises, Dharan, in the Marketing Department. Keeping in view the difficult
terrain of the country, its
population and economy, this significant number speaks volumes about the
success of the company. More than the success, company believe that it is a
manifestation of commitment in providing excellent product, services to the
people for a growing economy.
1.3.2 Placement:
The
owner of the Everest Enterprises, Dharan, Mr. Pankaj Jain Supervised the
intern. During the internship period in Everest Enterprises, Dharan, intern got
the opportunity to work as Marketing. The intern was placed in the Marketing
Department. Therefore, my report will be fully based on the Marketing
Department.
1.3.3
Duration:
The duration of internship were defined for 3 months by the
Everest Enterprises. During the period of internship, the whole 3 months the
intern was placed in sales and Marketing Department. The intern was able to
learn about the Educational consultancy's culture, working environment, working
procedures of the marketing department, different strategies to implement for
new market product and services, work in dynamic group of people. These 3
Months is not enough to learn all the activities of the educational consultancy
but also Intern has implemented theoretical education and knowledge in the real
practical field. So it is short period of time to gain real work life
knowledge.

1.2 Limitations
of the Internship:
The report has been prepared from
the feedback and information provided by the market operation division and also
the learning throughout these 3 long months of internship program. As with any
work experience, there were some limitations or challenges encountered during
the internship at Everest enterprise marketing company for Nestle, including:
Limited Scope: As an intern, the
work assigned was limited in scope and may not allow for a comprehensive
understanding of all aspects of marketing and business operations.
Time Constraints: The internship
duration is limited, which result in limited exposure to different projects or
areas of the company.
Limited Interaction: The intern's
interaction with senior management or decision-makers was limited, and this
hinder the intern's understanding of the company's overall strategy.
Lack of Autonomy: As an intern, the
intern was limited in their ability to make independent decisions or take the
lead on projects.
It
is essential to acknowledge these limitations and use the experience gained
during the internship to identify areas for improvement and further
development. Overall, despite these limitations, the internship at Everest
enterprise marketing company for Nestle was a valuable learning experience for the
intern.
